CARRIE ENGLAND LANIER

Carrie England, APR, has touched many accounts at Jackson Spalding as a team leader and strategic counselor. She is a popular coach for JS Cultivation training sessions, and motivates us internally by chairing our 2009 Work/Life Balance Team.
 
Carrie leads the national account charged with boosting enrollment at Primrose Schools, a franchise of more than 200 early learning centers. She also provides strategic counsel for Orkin, Inc., after leading the account for more than two years. Her Orkin work contributed to several prestigious industry awards, including a 2007 PRSA|GA Phoenix Award. Carrie also has leveraged her media insights for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, The Gretsch Company, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Georgia Research Alliance and Publix, to name a few others.

She came to Jackson Spalding in 2002 from Spanx, Inc., where she helped garner national and local press for two product launches. Earlier in her career, she was a crewmember and spokesperson for the Hershey's Kissmobile, a mobile marketing vehicle that traveled the U.S. to raise brand awareness for Hershey's Kisses.

A native of Chapin, S.C., Carrie is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College (SCHC) and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. She holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minor in English. Today, she helps the SCHC stay in touch with alumni by serving as a founding Class Captain.

Carrie was recognized in 2008 with the Public Relations Society of America's "Shining Star" award, one of the highest honors bestowed by the Georgia Chapter. She is the first Jackson Spalding associate to earn accreditation in our field and also the first to earn the honor of participating in a Public Relations Organisation International exchange program. She spent June 2008 working for Van Luyken Communicatie Adviseurs in Haarlem (near Amsterdam), The Netherlands, where she learned to love national soccer, bicycling to work and tiny chocolate sprinkles called hagelslag.
