MANNING FAIREY
Manning joined our firm in 2008 after three years at a boutique Atlanta agency where she helped develop consumer and business-to-business campaigns for clients. One of her most interesting achievements was the coordination of a national awards program that recognized outstanding women in non-profits. Through this work, she met Janet Reno and Billie Jean King - celebrity judges for the awards program that attracted media coverage coast to coast.
At Jackson Spalding she leads the Georgia Research Alliance team and contributes significantly to the Orkin Residential account. She’s also managed multiple non-profit projects, including campaigns for the Atlanta Regional Council for Higher Education, Growing Leaders and the Task Force for Global Health.
A Spartanburg, S.C. native, Manning graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington & Lee University where she played on the nationally-ranked women’s tennis team. She was named to the Academic All-American Team her senior year. She continues to play competitively through the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association and recently was named to the board of the Friends of Bitsy Grant Tennis, a non-profit group working to improve and maintain Atlanta’s historic Bitsy Grant Tennis Center, a public park.
Manning is always up for travel, which has included stops in Argentina, Fiji, Thailand and the Sydney Olympic Games when she studied at Canterbury University in New Zealand.
Her zest for globetrotting literally became a “fairey tale” when she met her husband while backpacking through Europe. They live in Buckhead, but escape to the mountains for skiing whenever the powder permits.
