ROBIN HUBIER
Robin brings new meaning to the term "utility player" as she has supported three different Jackson Spalding business practices - account service, graphic design and multimedia production-since 2006. This comes as no surprise to the communications faculty at Berry College, who recognized this magna cum laude graduate with the Ned Peterson Award for Outstanding Student in Communication during her senior year.
She gained public relations experience in college, working for Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Jackson Electric Membership Corp., Northwest Georgia Public Health, Berry's public relations office and the school communications department, where she also participated in grant writing. In addition, she focused her eye behind the camera during an apprenticeship with Georgia Public Broadcasting and became the producer for Berry's weekly television news program.
Robin co-chairs our Social Media Team and puts those skills to good use as a key contributor to our Chick-fil-A Bowl and Chick-fil-A Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America accounts. She learned first-hand about the value of online connections as she spent three months working virtually from Seattle while her husband completed his graduate studies.
Robin has always enjoyed the outdoors, dating back to her childhood in the small town of Jefferson, Georgia, and her college years on Berry's 28,000-acre campus. She still likes to escape the city for quality time on the lake or river, or for snow skiing or hiking with her husband, Britt. Recent adventures have included backpacking the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim and glacier climbing in Alaska.
Closer to home, Robin volunteers weekly for Emory University's Intervarsity Christian Fellowship Chapter and chairs the communication committee for North Avenue Presbyterian Church's Africa missions.
