JOANNA SINGLETON
Joanna Singleton is blazing a trail for us in Texas, where she runs our Dallas office. She previously worked in our Athens, GA. office where she earned kudos for leading real estate, consumer and not-for-profit accounts. Over the years she has compiled an impressive network of media contacts that have landed her clients in The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and on CNN.
Prior to joining Jackson Spalding in 2005, Joanna worked in Washington, DC for CBS News and a global PR firm where she became well-versed in public affairs and issues management. Her experience inside the Beltway included writing a daily political column for CBS News during the heat of the 2004 presidential nominations and participation in the release of the 9/11 Commission Report.
Joanna graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University with degrees in Journalism and Spanish. She knew she would pursue a career in public relations after serving as media chair for the University's Mock Convention, a coveted role that gave her the opportunity to stage press conferences for major Democratic leaders such as James Carville and Virginia Governor Mark Warner.
Now, Joanna is active in Dallas Junior League and The Real Estate Council Young Guns. She volunteers with The Stewpot's children and youth programs and also handles public relations for the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, which is raising funds to build a 5-acre community park above the freeway between Uptown and Downtown Dallas.
Joanna and her husband Glenn live in the M Streets neighborhood of Dallas, but spend as many weekends as they can out at the ranch.
