ASHTON STANISZEWSKI
Ashton joined Jackson Spalding in 2010 and has been busy ever since as our first in-house photographer. He’s been behind the lens since grade school when he began experimenting with a 35-mm Pentax. During college, he had a freelance business as a wedding photographer, which was great training for the client portraits and events he handles for Jackson Spalding today.
His work has been published in USA Today, The New York Times and on Forbes.com and cnn.com, among others.
Ashton also assists on the public relations side of our business, supporting the Orkin Residential team with its efforts.
Prior to joining us, he was a Program Officer for The Collegiate Network, a Delaware-based not-for-profit that provides operating grants and design support for independent student-run college newspapers. He mentored college teams up and down the eastern seaboard and he has contacts at many U.S. newspapers where these writers are now on staff.
Ashton graduated from Berry College with a B.A. in Communications, focusing on Journalism and Public Relations. While there, he served various roles on the newspaper staff, assuming the editor’s position mid-way through his junior year.
Although he’s an only child, he has a large extended family on two sides of the globe- in The Philippines and in Poland, where the experts say his last name should be pronounced “Stan-a-chef-ski.” Both points on the map are high on his list of future travel destinations where, no doubt, he’ll be recording the trip on film.
