JEULIE THAO
The pleasant voice you hear on the phone when you call Jackson Spalding is that of Jeulie Thao, who came to our firm in 1999. In addition to her role as receptionist, she manages many of the firm’s administrative duties and serves as project assistant for a variety of clients. We call her our Director of First Impressions, since she is often the initial touch-point for the Jackson Spalding brand.
Jeulie previously worked as a receptionist with Inacom Information Systems and for Manpower, Inc., where she interviewed, trained and assigned personnel to temporary positions. She has lived in metro Atlanta for the past 20 years and studied pharmacy at West Georgia College and Georgia Perimeter College, before finding her niche in public relations.
Jeulie’s ancestry is Hmong, a southeastern Asian group that was driven from their homeland in the mid-70s by Pathet Lao’s Communist regime. Her parents found refuge in Thailand, where Jeulie was born, and later immigrated to the U.S. Today, Jeulie and her husband maintain their cultural heritage, dressing in ceremonial costumes and making traditional Hmong egg rolls for November’s Hmong New Year.
An accomplished vocalist, Jeulie is often invited to sing for church events. She has recently learned to play the piano and is using this new skill to explore writing music. A busy mother of three, she spends much of her time away from the office managing an action-packed family schedule in Hoschton, Ga.
