Jackson Spalding Dallas Adds New Team Members

Courtney Birck and Halle Smith Join Growing Office

Dallas (July 13, 2009)-- Jackson Spalding, an Atlanta-based image creation, cultivation and communications firm, added Courtney Birck and Halle Smith to its Dallas team in June. As account professionals, Birck and Smith will be responsible for client assignments ranging from media training to event promotion.

Both Birck and Smith bring previous communications experience to their new roles at Jackson Spalding. Birck spent three years at a Dallas-based communications firm, where she gained experience in media training, crisis communications and social media strategies. Likewise, Smith served as a marketing and public relations specialist for a Dallas-based energy efficiency company, where she garnered experience in writing, design, sales and event management.

Both Birck and Smith graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU). Birck finished in 2006 with a degree in corporate communications and public affairs and a minor in Spanish. Smith completed her studies in 2007 with a degree in political science and a minor in studio art. Smith also holds a certificate in business from SMU’s Summer Business Institute.
