Jackson Spalding team members share how an award-winning campaign educated the local community on what would soon be recognized as a nationwide foreclosure crisis.
Behind the Scenes with Jackson Spalding
The home foreclosure crisis makes headlines daily now. But this wasn’t the case in August 2006 when Jackson Spalding launched a pilot public education campaign to reduce home foreclosures in metro Atlanta.
Anticipating the imminent mortgage industry meltdown, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Atlanta, Fannie Mae Foundation, Homeownership Preservation Foundation, NeighborWorks America and United Way hired us to establish 1-888-995-HOPE as the source of information for local homeowners behind on their mortgages or facing foreclosure.
Partnering with PRecise Communications and ignition, Inc., Jackson Spalding designed a tiered campaign to reach homeowners in the hardest hit communities, while also promoting the foreclosure hotline to homeowners throughout the metro area.
