When it comes to the StrengthsFinder test, Adrienne is portrayed as a strategist, competitor, achiever and futurist. All of those traits play into her role at JS, leading content marketing strategy and initiatives for our teams. Adrienne’s cross-functional experience, especially her deep understanding of integrated strategy within the customer journey, make her an invaluable resource with client campaign planning.
We recruited her from Tampa-based Sparxoo, a digital start-up that she helped evolve—as the first employee—into an Inc. 5000 company in under six years. Her work there included digital and performance marketing campaigns for notable clients like Harvard University, Ford, Weight Watchers, and a number of Fortune 100 and 500 B2B tech companies.
Adrienne actually began her career as a senior copywriter and editor for AAA’s Going Places Magazine. Here, she was on the team that developed and launched all of the organization’s first digital platforms and initiatives targeting the millennial demographic. During this time, she took on the challenge of learning as much as she could about digital marketing and customer segmentation, while also going on location as a travel writer to write about cool vacation spots worldwide.
Adrienne graduated from Florida State University with a degree in English, majoring in creative writing and minoring in law. She later earned her MBA at the University of South Florida, specializing in marketing strategy and organizational management. She has won a number of ADDY awards and writing awards, as well as being featured as a guest lecturer at the University of Tampa and guest speaker at a number of organizations.
In her spare time, Adrienne loves running, traveling and collecting (and drinking) wine. She’s also working on her pilot’s license, which will most certainly add depth to each of these pursuits.
