Alana is a member of our Delta Air Lines account team, generating copy for those SkyMiles emails that hit your inbox. She also supports the airline’s community engagement efforts with copywriting and project management.

Before coming to JS as a post-grad intern, Alana had two other high-profile internships under her belt. She spent nine months in corporate communications with Mercedes-Benz USA and a summer working in public affairs for the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security office. These experiences solidified her understanding of crisis preparation and social media management, among other things.

Alana graduated with honors from the University of Georgia’s Grady College. One of the highlights of her journalism track was a semester in Prague studying travel writing. She interviewed the editor of Elle magazine in the Czech Republic, which also bolstered her minor in Fashion Merchandising.

During her time in Athens, Alana served as Vice President of Public Relations for the UGA Panhellenic Council, which named her one of the top 10 Greek women on campus. She also volunteered as both a small group leader and a mentor with the UGA Wesley Foundation.

Alana is a native of Fayetteville, Georgia, just south of Atlanta. Today she lives in Buckhead, where she routinely trains for half marathons to burn off stress.
