Hannah Williamson

Hannah was always destined for a career in PR, growing up with family members in the industry and a natural gift for storytelling. She’s determined to forge her own path, beginning her career in our Athens, Ga. office serving a variety of companies.

Before coming to JS, Hannah completed three other internships that gave her exposure to events management, social media strategy and crisis communications.

She was one of 32 interns selected from a field of 400 to support Compassion International, a Colorado-based nonprofit focused on relieving global poverty. While there, she managed the organization’s social media channels, including a Facebook campaign that raised $60,000 for Ugandan families. A highlight of her experience came unexpectedly when a Compassion beneficiary was trapped in a Thai cave with his soccer team. Hannah wrote social media content for this dramatic event, which thankfully had a happy outcome

During the preceding summers, Hannah developed an affection for influencer marketing at a boutique agency and experienced the high-pressure and exhilarating world of event management while working at The Cloister on Sea Island.

She’s a proud honor graduate of the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Georgia, where she also earned a degree in Sociology. For three years she led student tours as a guide for UGA’s Visitor Center, a role well suited to her positive, vivacious personality.

Her childhood dream was to be a Disney Princess at Disney World. The closest she got was a community theatre production playing daughter to Jodi Benson, who is the voice of The Little Mermaid.  No worries, though, as Hannah gets to marry her real-life Prince Charming next May.
