Hayley supports our team for Primrose Schools, writing content, pitching media and helping with social media management. We met her when her PR campaigns class toured Jackson Spalding, and she joined us a few months later, advancing quickly from intern to fulltime status.
A native of Leesburg, Va., Hayley grew up cheering for Auburn University, her Dad’s alma mater, which made her college choice easy. She earned a B.A. in Public Relations there, graduating summa cum laude in three years. During her time on The Plains, Hayley zeroed in on activities and internships to advance her communications experience.
She spent a year writing and pitching stories for the Auburn University Communications and Marketing Department, promoting subjects ranging from interesting alumni to cutting-edge research. The year before that, she held a similar position with the Office of Student Affairs, creating and posting content to highlight the university’s 14 student resources departments. Her volunteer involvement included serving as a Student Recruiter, a child mentor through Project Uplift and as Assistant Marketing Director for Auburn’s after-hours activities group, Tiger Nights.
Closer to home, Hayley also spent a summer working for the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. Her exposure to the inner-workings of this public policy center gave her an excellent grounding in media relations at the national level.
Hayley’s BFF is her twin brother, Jordan. Her parents called her the “secretary twin” because of her habit of keeping him on schedule, which bodes well for her future as a project manager on our team. In her free time, Hayley loves traveling, testing new recipes and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
