Jennifer flew into our world in 2016 and hit the ground running on the Delta account, bringing three years of relevant experience from United Airlines. She supports a variety of projects, ranging from corporate and inflight communications to community affairs.
She came to us after a year with Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, where she served as a Communications and Social Media Specialist. While there, she produced a variety of internal communications tools, supported media relations activities and curated and coordinated social media content, which increased the hospital’s website traffic.
While working at United’s headquarters in Chicago, Jennifer served on the internal communications team, using a multi-channel strategy to reach the airline’s 85,000 employees around the world. She also contributed feature content for Hemispheres, United’s inflight magazine.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a concentration in advertising and public relations from The University of Arkansas. During college, she gained knowledge in various aspects of the business through internships with Susan G. Komen’s Ozark Affiliate and the Miu Miu division of PRADA USA in New York City.
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Jennifer first became interested in journalism while interning at Justine Magazine during high school.
Jennifer’s a self-described exercise fanatic and has the war stories to prove it. She tore both ACLs during a downhill run on the slopes of Montana and busted three bones in her foot while demonstrating a ballet turn on carpet. Nowadays, she works out in tamer territory- at the gym or by running in the neighborhood. If you’re wondering about her last name, which is pronounced kosMYtis, she gained that through her husband, Phillip, who shares her enthusiasm for garnishing all foods with ketchup.
