Mary Mac is a member of “Team Chikin,” our affectionate term for the Jackson Spalding crew who promote Chick-fil-A.  Her current role involves field support and new restaurant openings.

She came to us after an internship with a boutique Atlanta agency, where she managed social media campaigns for Schlotzsky’s and United Distributors.

Mary Mac, whose given name is Mary McElroy, knew early on that she wanted a career in communications. She fine-tuned her interests at Auburn University when she discovered their PRSSA chapter, for which she eventually became Vice President. This involvement led to an internship at Inner Spark Creative, a local digital agency that gave her a jumpstart into the business.

One of Mary Mac’s personality traits is “woo,” which probably explains how she landed the huge responsibility of recruitment for her social sorority. She gravitates toward mentorship and also served as a counselor to high school students during her time on The Plains.

As a native of The Mile High City, Mary Mac is a hiking enthusiast who says anyone heading out west should experience the Hanging Lake Trail. Mountaineering is a family thing, as her parents have climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and lived to tell the tale in this book.

On the glam side, she loves fashion and is also a very gifted vocalist who actually made it through a round of auditions for The X Factor.
