Pat is a founding member of Jackson Spalding and part of our Leadership Team. Best known for his strategic approach and innovative ideas, Pat leads award-winning teams across a wide variety of industries. A skilled communicator in transportation and land-use issues, Pat assisted Toyota Motor North America with vehicle launches, brand positioning and local media relations for nearly a decade. He continues to lead the brand’s integrated communications strategy around the largest automotive recall in U.S. history, affecting 19 automakers. His “Guide to Public Relations” for a global insurance and financial services company was published multiple times over several decades.

Pat previously worked with an international public relations firm, earning that agency’s top award for client innovation whiletraveling the country with baseball legend Hank Aaron. He began his career at a marketing communications agency in Arizona where he worked with top names in outdoor recreation, including Yamaha Marine Group and Columbia Sportswear.

Active in the community, Pat serves on the Atlanta and Southern Region boards for the Boy Scouts of America and the board of Central Atlanta Progress. He is a graduate of the ARC’s Regional Leadership Institute and Leadership North Fulton. He is a past board member of the Georgia Conservancy, the Urban Land Institute’s Atlanta District Council, the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and the Roswell Girls Lacrosse Team, where his daughter is a varsity athlete.

Earning both journalism and public relations degrees from Auburn University, Pat competed in the Collegiate National Water Ski Championships. A native of Kansas City, he currently lives in Roswell, with his wife, Lee, and their two children. He is passionate about the outdoors and can be found fly fishing in the Carolinas or mountain biking in North Georgia on any given weekend.
